When I Live My Dream When I Live My Dream
(WZ 93213), 1997 (Germany).

Reissue of The Gospel According To David Bowie.

The Space Oddity EP
(Polygram 438-2), 1997 (Greece)

Space Oddity/The Laughing Gnome/Rubber Band/Love You Till Tuesday.

Presented with the January/February 1997 edition of the Greek "Zoo" magazine. Interesting mainly because of its artwork, copying the sleeve of the French single and the label of the Italian promo of 'Space Oddity'. 'Space Oddity' is the edited version, 'Rubber Band' and 'Love You Till Tuesday' are the single versions.

Rubber Band (single version)/The London Boys/The Laughing Gnome/The Gospel According To Tony Day/Uncle Arthur/Sell Me A Coat/Rubber Band/Love You Till Tuesday/There Is A Happy Land/We Are Hungry Men/When I Live My Dream/Little Bombardier/Silly Boy Blue/Come And Buy My Toys/Join The Gang/She's Got Medals/Maid Of Bond Street/Please Mr. Gravedigger/Love You Till Tuesday (single version)/Did You Ever Have A Dream/Karma Man/Let Me Sleep Beside You/In The Heat Of The Morning/Ching-A-Ling/Sell Me A Coat/When I Live My Dream/Space Oddity.

Nothing new, but this is the first CD with all Bowie's pre-Space Oddity songs in a chronological running order. The last four tracks as the same versions as on the Love You Till Tuesday LP, so 'Ching-A-Ling' and 'Space Oddity' have been edited, 'Sell Me A Coat' has additional backing vocals, and 'When I Live My Dream' is the second version that was intended for single release. Reissued in 2007 as an 'ecopak' (Deram 0602498490044), made entirely of recycled and recyclable material.

Released in Japan in 2004 in the series "Collection Paper Sleeve Vintage Rock" (Deram/Universal UICY-9411). The CD cover is a reproduction of the debut album, but the package includes the original 1997 Deram Anthology booklet.
