Amen Ruud.
Thanks for finding it though Marcio.
Never going to see an official release on that evidence.

Each to his own. I personally love it.
It has a transitional feel to it not quite young Americans and a little diamong dogs still

Hi I am a bit of a completist , not a great lover of snippets, they are too much of a tease to what ' might have been'.

Is it only me ? , but this sounds so much like two two songs spliced together.

But there is any version full? Or only the "take 1"?

I won't share the identity to avoid people bothering with messages.

comment:

'Shilling The Rubes' is like a lost Diamond Dogs track (think Sweet Thing, Time, We Are The Dead).

The other reels were the band and David learning/practising the songs - mumbling through, making up lyrics and missing the chord changes. Pretty ropey stuff, but fascinating nonetheless.

Finally there was a stereo reel that was just the sound of everyone working in the studio: Ava and Luther practising bvs to Who Can I Be Now and John I'm Only Dancing Again - David teaching them the parts and Tony V contributing wisecracks over the talkback.

Can anybody here can give mister Robert Zimmerman's phones number to Mister Robert Jones so that he can have a little talk about old songs and the way to make good (and Real) Bootleg Series with that kind of Sigma tapes?

That is an excellent suggestion.

Even better would be releases similar to the Velvet Underground Super Deluxe 45th Anniversary issues. I have all four to date. They are both excellent and inexpensive. I have just received the issue for "Loaded". It is brilliant. Not only do the releases include the various mixes, outtakes and "b" sides they sometimes include decent bootleg recordings of live performances. The DVD with the high quality recordings and various mixes of the Loaded album is a great bonus this time around.

This is a link to a description of the Loaded issue for those interested:

and the other 45th Anniverssry issues:
