I think this first popped up on the Axeman Cometh / Boy Could He Play Guitar cd. I was wondering if anyone here had some insight into it. I suspect it's a fake.
Listening more closely, the count in has more hiss on it than the music, that's the first clue. The fake count in was a trademark of one well know creator of fakes at that time.
Secondly, it seems to just be the intro of the full version from the September 1971 Sound Of The Seventies with the first few bars of single tracked acoustic clipped off and the channels flipped.
