The only differant mix that I could find on the Jump CD-ROM was Black Tie White Noise. When you go to the Audio Mixer there are four tracks of BTWN.
Bass/Drums, Guiter, Al B vocals, Bowie vocals. When you play the track with all the sliders up you get a stripped down version of BTWN.

In Nicholas Pegg's The Complete DB (2006, pg 115):

Jump They Say:
"In 1994 the song became the central focus of JUMP, a CD-ROM wich included a 'lift music' version."

Thanks for the file...downloading! :)

Actually there are two versions of BTWN on the CD-ROM, a 4-track (4:51) and 8-track version (4:21). Plus the Muzak Version of Jump of course (1:23).

This is from memory as I haven't seen the contents of the cd-rom since 1995 or so - but isn't the 8-track mixing version only on the mac version of the cd-rom?

Could be Maarten, I've ripped it from the Mac version.

We've discussed the CD-ROM here before:
http://www.illustrated-db-discography.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?t=577
I ripped my versions from a PC version and there's only a 4-track version on that one.
However, I did not rip the lift/elevator version...

Actually I was getting more than a little tired of the number of share requests in the last weeks. But as even good old Zig doesn't seem to have these... 4-track and 8-track BTWN plus the Jump muzak:

Thanks Ruud. That muzak version of Jump They Say is very bizarre! Sounds like something from the soundtrack of Disney's The Little Mermaid.

Many thanks Ruud.
I own this CD-ROM,but never heard these versions.
I'll try to rip them from my CD-ROM,but no need to do it.
Your jobs are always great to me.
Thanks again.
