Jump (3'26")/Black Tie White Noise (2'08")/Miracle Goodnight (2'13")/Don't Let Me Down & Down (2'32").

A numbered promo, limited to 500 copies, with four samples from Black Tie White Noise. The CD comes in a special sleeve, that changes a cover photo of Bowie into the text "Black Tie White Noise" upon opening (here its wrapper is illustrated; see the Arista/BMG DB002 promo below for the CD cover). The package also features a short biography titled "Looking For Bowie".

Released in Canada as An Introduction To The Album Black Tie White Noise (middle) and in France as Jump They Say (bottom), both in a different cover but with an identical catalogue number (Arista DB-001).

Hot Tracks Hot Tracks 12-4
(HT-CD-12-4), 1993 (US)

Black Tie White Noise.

According to the liner notes "DJ EFX's latest offering is an entirely remixed/reconstructed/reworked version of the latest track by David Bowie". Indeed, it's impossible to recognize 'Black Tie White Noise' in the track that is offered here! Also see the 12" edition (Hot Tracks 12-4), which labels the remix as Digital Remix.

(EMI BOWIE 1), 1993 (UK)

Promoting the Singles Collection, with a lot of attention to the 80s singles.

(EMI SPCD 1697), 1993 (France)

Ziggy Stardust/China Girl/Let's Dance/Amsterdam.

An untitled French sampler released to promote the Singles Collection. 'Amsterdam' is mistitled 'In The Port Of Amsterdam'; the reason for its appearance on this CD is unclear, as this track is not included on the Singles Collection at all!

All Saints All Saints
(042H2 (910) ALLSAINTS/042C2 (910) ALLSAINTS2), 1993 (Canada)

Warszawa/Some Are/Subterraneans/Sense Of Doubt/Moss Garden/Neuköln/Art Decade/The Mysteries/Ian Fish, UK Heir/Abdulmajid/South Horizon/Weeping Wall/Pallas Athena/A New Career In A New Town/The Wedding/V-2 Schneider/Looking For Lester/All Saints.

A 2CD with instrumentals from Low, "Heroes", Black Tie White Noise and Buddha Of Suburbia, plus 'Some Are' from Philip Glass' Low Symphony. Sense Of Doubt/Moss Garden/Neuköln are included as a single track; the artwork incorrectly places 'Moss Garden' before 'Sense Of Doubt'. 50 copies were sent out by David as a Christmas gift for friends, while another 100 were pressed as promotional gifts.

Santa Monica samplerSanta Monica sampler Ziggy Stardust
(Golden Years GY CDS 002), 1994 (UK)

Ziggy Stardust/Waiting For The Man/The Jean Genie.

A sampler for the Santa Monica '72 album. This UK promo was released as a regular CD-single in France, with the same catalogue number (but the disc itself reads "For France only" rather than "Promotional copy, not for sale") and in the US (Griffin Music GCD-382-2) in 1995, with different artwork (bottom). Probably this sampler was pressed in large quantities, as some were bundled with the Introspective (BakTabak CBAK 4040) interview picture disc and sold as a 2CD.

Outside sampler The Outside Sampler
(Virgin DPRO-11008), 1995 (US)

This BMG Argentina sampler is unique in that is contains no less than 6 versions of 'The Hearts Filthy Lesson', some of which were unavailable on CD until the 2004 Limited 2CD Edition of 1. Outside. See CD-singles for detailed info.

Outside Tour The Outside Tour 1995
(RCA/Arista SOLO 1), 1995 (UK)

Strangers When We Meet.

The other track on this promo is 'The Boy Racer' by Morrissey, Bowie's supporting act on the UK leg of the Outside tour.
